Export Prompt Studio project

Like as discussed earlier, Prompt Studio is not where you extract data. You use Prompt Studio to develop generic prompts that can extract data from the various variants that you might have for a given document type. Also, you use Prompt Studio to define the schema for the document extraction.

To actually extract the data, you'll have to use one of the following integration methods:

But, before you can use any of the above mentioned document data extraction integration methods, you'll need to create Workflows. To use your Prompt Studio project as part of a Workflow, you'll first need to export it as a Tool that can be used as part of a Workflow. Doing this is fairly simple. You simply use the Project Export option shown in the screenshot below: img Prompt Studio project export

Sharing permission settings

When you click on the Export button, the Prompt Studio Project Tool Sharing Permissions dialog is displayed:

From here, you can either choose to share the exported Tool with all users in your organization (the default). You can also restrict it to a specific set of users. Should you choose to do that, you'll need to specify a list of those users. With this fine-grained ability, you can choose not to share the Prompt Studio project with some users, but choose to share the exported Prompt Studio project as a Tool with them. This restricts them from changing prompts and other settings, while allowing them to use the exported Prompt Studio project as a Tool in any supported Workflows.
