Mistral AI

Mistral LLM is a powerful AI model trained on massive amounts of text data. It can generate different creative text formats, translate languages, and answer your questions in an informative way. It's known for its strong performance on text-based tasks.

Getting started with Mistral LLMs​

  1. Register an Mistral account.

  2. Click on API key

  3. Complete the Billing Configuration, after that Create API Key button will be enabled. Create a new API key.

Setting up the Mistral LLM in Unstract​

Now that we have an API key from Mistral, we can use it to set up an LLM profile on the Unstract platform. For this:

  • Sign in to the Unstract Platform

  • From the side navigation menu, choose Settings 🞂 LLMs

  • Click on the New LLM Profile button.

  • From the list of LLMs, choose Mistral. You should see a dialog box where you enter details.

  • For Name, enter a name for this connector.

  • In the API Key field, paste the API key we created on the Mistral website.

  • In the Model enter the Mistral LLM model. To get the Mistral model names, refer Mistral Model names

  • Leave the Timeout field to the default value.

  • Click on Test Connection and ensure it succeeds. You can finally click on Submit and that should create a new LLM Profile for use in your Unstract projects.
